PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY AS IT IS LEGALLY BINDING (DISCLAIMER)

Glacier Hosting (“Glacier Hosting”) agrees to provide services to the Subscriber, subject to the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”). Glacier Hosting, hereafter referred to as (“We,” “Us,” or “Our”), and the client, referred to as (“Customer,” “Client,” or “You”). The use of Glacier Hosting services constitutes acceptance and agreement to the Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) and Terms of Service (“ToS”). If you are not of legal age to form a binding contract or if you are barred from receiving services under the law, you may not use our services.

Glacier Hosting reserves the right to revise or amend any portion of this agreement at its sole discretion and without advance notice. Any changes will be effective upon posting to the site. Your continued use of our services following any change in the Terms of Service (“ToS”) and Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) will indicate your acceptance of such changes. If you do not agree to any changes in the Terms of Service Agreement, please discontinue the use of our services. Please note that if you choose to discontinue our services due to changes made to the Terms of Service (“ToS”) and Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”), no refund will be initiated. Violation of the Terms of Service (“ToS”) and Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) is grounds for service cancellation without refund and may result in civil or criminal prosecution.

Definitions​

  • "Charges" means the applicable fees payable by you to Glacier Hosting in exchange for our products and services.
  • "Content" means information published on the Glacier Hosting website or transmitted by us as part of the services we provide.

Interpretation​

The provisions of the Terms of Service (“ToS”) Agreement are in no way exhaustive. Any conduct that violates laws, regulations, or the norms of internet use is prohibited. Glacier Hosting reserves the right to limit or prohibit any of your activities that damage the reputation of Glacier Hosting as it pertains to your use of our services.

Payments​

  • Servers can be cancelled by the customer at any time, however no refunds will be given for the remainder of the billing cycle.
  • Customers are required to make manual payments for charges through their billing panel for each billing period, including monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually. Alternatively, if a service has been purchased by making manual payments through Discord, charges must be paid manually from Discord for every billing period, which can be monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually.
  • Billing Procedure for Minecraft Hosting and Bot Hosting Services are as follows:
  • An invoice will be generated 15 days prior to the due date.
  • A first reminder email will be sent 10 days before the due date.
  • If unpaid, the affected services will be suspended on the due date before 12 AM. At this point, the first overdue notice will be sent out via email.
  • 24 hours after being unpaid, affected services will be suspended. At this point, the second overdue notice will be sent out via email.
  • 48 hours after being overdue, the third overdue notice will be sent out via email.
  • 3 days or 72 hours after being overdue, the affected services will be terminated, and all files will be removed.
  • Billing Procedure for Dedicated Servers, VPS, Glacier Shield, or Other Manually Purchased Services from Discord
  • A reminder email will be sent out anytime within 5 days before the due date.
  • If unpaid, the server will be terminated and all files will be removed 24 hours after the due date.

Identity Verification​

Occasionally, for new orders that we, at our discretion, determine to be high risk or fraudulent (but not limited to these scenarios), we may require identity verification. If you choose not to comply when asked, we reserve the full right to cancel, terminate, or suspend the purchased service without initiating any refund. Identity verification is mandatory for all orders, and we will specify when it is required for each order.

Limitations of Liability​

You expressly acknowledge and agree that to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Glacier Hosting shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses (even if Glacier Hosting has been advised of the possibility of such damages).

  • The use or the inability to use the service.
  • The cost of procurement of substitute goods and services resulting from any goods, data, information, or services purchased or obtained or messages received or transactions entered into through or from the service.
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data.
  • Statements or conduct of any third party on the service.
  • Any other matter relating to the service.

Nothing in these TOS shall affect the statutory rights of any consumer, exclude or restrict Glacier Hosting’s liability arising from fraud or other criminal action or exclude or restrict any liability for death or personal injury arising from the negligence of Glacier Hosting.

Glacier Hosting does not provide any warranty or representation that:​

  • The service will fulfill your requirements.
  • The service will operate without interruptions, be timely, secure, or free from errors.
  • The results obtained from using the service will be accurate or reliable.
  • The quality of any products, services, information, or other material acquired through the service will meet your expectations.
  • Any errors in the software will be rectified.

Intellectual Property Restrictions​

You acknowledge that you do not have the right to use any logos, trademarks, or domain names owned by Glacier Hosting without obtaining prior permission from us.

Storage​

  • By utilizing our services, you commit to staying within the storage limit allocated to your hosting package. If you exceed this limit, you will be issued a warning. Failure to respond may result in the deletion of your data to prevent any adverse impact on other customers. Specifically for Minecraft hosting and Bot hosting services, your storage allocation is designated exclusively for your Minecraft server and Bot code. Any unrelated items stored on your servers may be deleted by us at any time without prior notice.
  • Large dynmaps, logs, and backups that consume a substantial amount of space and pose potential issues on the node may be subject to deletion.

Denial of Service Attacks​

Glacier Hosting retains the right to disable and terminate your server in the event of recurrent denial-of-service attacks that disrupt other users.

Indemnity​

You agree to defend, hold harmless, and indemnify Glacier Hosting from any and all liability, claim, loss, judgment, damage, cost, or expense (including, without limitation, reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach or violation of any covenant contained in this policy, or resulting from your use of the Services.

Support And live chat​

  • Support requests for Glacier Hosting services must be submitted through the Glacier Hosting Discord tickets, billing panel ticket system, or our support email. Contact through any other means not mentioned in this line is not guaranteed to receive a proper response from an official representative.
  • We strive to maintain an average response time of 30 minutes on Discord tickets, 24 hours on our billing panel ticket system, and 48 hours on our support email (i.e., [email protected]). While we aim for this response time, we cannot guarantee it, as some responses may take longer based on the complexity of the request.
  • Spamming the ticket system or support email will result in a further delay in response. Continued spamming may lead to a ban from the support ticket system and support email, affecting your ability to receive support for your services.
  • The Live Chat provided is intended for sales inquiries only. If you have any support-related queries for your services, kindly use our ticket system or support email.

Dedicated Servers and VPS​

  • Our dedicated servers and VPS are entirely unmanaged, and we are unable to offer support for any software installed on the system.
  • Upon purchasing a dedicated server and VPS, if you do not specify the operating system you require, Ubuntu will be installed by default. Please note that opting for an operating system other than Ubuntu may incur an additional charge.

Minecraft Servers: Support for Minecraft Services​

  • Minecraft Servers: Support for Minecraft Services​
  • RAM allocation is based on the ordered plan, and your server will be assigned the full amount purchased. Additional memory used for java flags (such as PermGen) will utilize this allocated memory, and the in-game display may not reflect the total allocation.
  • The server's capacity to handle players depends on RAM, plugins/mods, server settings, and optimization. If lag arises due to optimization or settings, among other factors, Glacier Hosting is not held responsible.
  • CPU-intensive servers may be suspended without warning to prevent any issues for other clients. Notification will be provided, along with guidance to optimize CPU resource usage.
  • The use of automated backup plugins on Minecraft servers is not permitted, as these plugins can lead to substantial disk usage, potentially impacting other customers' services adversely.
  • If you are discovered using a script to increase the RAM allocation beyond the purchased amount, your server will be terminated, and all files will be removed without refund and notice.
  • Plugins allowing multiple servers to run on the same package are not allowed.

DDoS Shield​

Glacier Hosting does not guarantee that the plan you have purchased will meet, fulfill, or address, but not limited to, your expected needs. In such cases, we recommend considering an upgrade to your plan or exploring alternative options.

Abuse​

  • Services found to be engaging in abuse may be suspended or terminated without any refund and prior notification.
  • Services will be terminated, and all files will be removed for any, but not limited to, the following reasons:
  • Excessively high CPU usage
  • Cryptocurrency Mining
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other systems
  • Use of disruptive plugins such as automated backup plugins, botnets, etc.
  • Using a non-Minecraft-oriented JAR file
  • DDoS scripts
  • Packet flooding
  • Torrents and Pirated content
  • Intent to gain unauthorized access to any system
  • Sending Spam Emails
  • Hosting VPN/Proxy Sites
  • Use of Nulled/Illegal software
  • Hosting or downloading copyrighted material without consent, as well as Torrents

Backup Included in Plans​

  • Each plan has its own backup limit, and exceeding this limit in any way grants us the full right to suspend, terminate, and remove all your files without notice and refund.
  • Glacier Hosting conducts offsite backups on a weekly basis. These backups are stored on a separate drive inaccessible to the customer. If backups are unavailable due to an error, Glacier Hosting is not responsible for the loss of your files, content, worlds, etc.
  • You expressly acknowledge that backups can be requested in the following forms, but these forms are subject to availability. Glacier Hosting may not provide your requested backup form in certain circumstances, and Glacier Hosting should not be held responsible for any kind of data loss. The available forms include:
  • Download Link: The backup can be zipped up and downloaded from our servers.
  • Restored to Server: The backup can be restored to the customer's server, overwriting all existing files unless otherwise stated.
  • Backups exclude the following files but not limited to:
  • Dynmap
  • mcmmo_data
  • .log files and anything ending in .log (e.g., log.gz)
  • .tar
  • .sql
  • Block logging data such as CoreProtect
  • .zip files in the root directory

Termination​

Additionally, Glacier Hosting reserves all rights to suspend, terminate, and remove all files from your server or service upon any violation of the Terms of Service (“ToS”) and Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) or any other basis if deemed needed.

Minecraft End User License Agreement​

By using any Glacier Hosting Minecraft-related service, including but not limited to Minecraft server hosting, you agree to the Minecraft End User License Agreement and any related or additional agreements, terms, or conditions specified therein, as provided by Mojang AB, in addition to but not in place of Glacier Hosting Terms of Service (“ToS”).

SECURITY

  • You commit to accessing Glacier Hosting services exclusively through the Glacier Hosting interface.
  • You commit to refraining from bypassing Glacier Hosting security features to access the system without incurring charges.
  • You commit to refraining from engaging in activities that disrupt or impede Glacier Hosting services.
  • You commit to using glacierhosting.in in a manner that does not unfairly burden any system beyond what is provided as part of the purchased service, as determined solely by Glacier Hosting.
  • You commit to refraining from conducting any network-based attacks on any network, host, or server, including but not limited to "denial of service" attacks or attempting to crash the server.
  • You acknowledge that your account is your sole responsibility and that you will accept the consequences of any breach of your obligations under the Terms of Service agreement.
  • You acknowledge that you are responsible for the security of your account and will keep your passwords confidential.
  • You acknowledge that you are responsible for all activities occurring under your account.

Prohibited Use​

Services provided by Glacier Hosting may not be utilized for illegal purposes or to support any illegal activities. Glacier Hosting retains the right to collaborate with legal authorities and/or affected third parties in the examination of any suspected criminal activity or civil wrongdoing.

Threats​

Utilizing Glacier Hosting services to transmit any material (via e-mail, uploading, posting, or otherwise) that threatens or encourages bodily harm or destruction of property is strictly prohibited.

Harassment​

Utilizing Glacier Hosting services to transmit any material (via e-mail, uploading, posting, or otherwise) that harasses another is strictly prohibited.

Forgery or Impersonation

Altering, deleting, or manipulating identifying network header information with the intention to deceive or mislead is strictly prohibited. Attempting to impersonate any person by employing forged headers or other identifying information is also strictly prohibited. It’s important to note that the use of anonymous remailers or nicknames does not constitute impersonation.

Fraud​

Fraud entails a deliberate misrepresentation or deceptive statement, writing, or activity made with the intention that the recipient will act upon it. Any form of fraud is strictly prohibited, and violations will be thoroughly investigated.

Third-party Links, Sites, and Services Our products may include links to third-party websites, advertisers, services, special offers, or other events or activities that are not owned or controlled by Glacier Hosting. We neither endorse nor assume any responsibility for any such third-party sites, information, materials, products, or services. If you choose to access any third-party website, service, or content from Glacier Hosting, you do so at your own risk, and you agree that Glacier Hosting will bear no liability arising from your use of or access to any third-party website, service, or content.

Acceptance of Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP")​

Please refrain from using our server if you cannot adhere to the Terms of Service (ToS) and Acceptable Use Policy (AUP). If we find that you are in violation, we reserve the full right to terminate your services without advance notice and without a refund.

While we have not currently activated Google AdSense on our site, we may consider doing so in the future.

If you choose to sign up using the Google option, we will securely store your Primary Google email address and openid. This information is necessary to create an account with us, enabling us to contact you via email with your signup details and service information. It also allows you to log in again in the future.

Data Deletion​

To initiate the deletion of your client data from our systems, kindly submit a ticket on our Discord channel. This request will prompt the removal of your data from our database.

From time to time, we may choose to include or present third-party products or services on our website at our discretion. These third-party sites operate with distinct and independent privacy policies. Consequently, we hold no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Standard Terms

Products and services purchased from Glacier Hosting may be eligible for a refund only if canceled and a refund is requested within the number of days specified on this page under the heading “SERVICES AVAILABLE FOR REFUND UNDER STANDARD TERMS” for each service, calculated from the date and time of the original transaction.

Refund requests made after the applicable timeframe will not be accepted. All refund decisions are made at the sole discretion of Glacier Hosting based on the guidelines provided below.

  • Refunds for the same service will not be granted more than once within a 180-day timeframe. The 180-day period begins from the date and time of the prior refund. This policy is applicable in all situations, including but not limited to technical difficulties, dissatisfaction with the service, or accidental purchases.
  • If a client is found to be in violation of any applicable laws, the Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”), or the Terms of Service (“ToS”) of Glacier Hosting, no refunds will be issued for any payments already made.
  • You may cancel a service at any time; however, a refund will only be provided if the refund request is made within the specified timeframe listed for that service. Cancellations made after the eligible refund period will not qualify for a refund.
  • Services that have been upgraded or downgraded are not eligible for a refund, regardless of when the original purchase was made or when the change occurred.
  • All refunds are processed in Indian Rupees (INR). If you made a payment in a different currency, you are solely responsible for any differences caused by exchange rate fluctuations. Glacier Hosting is not liable for any loss or variation in the refunded amount due to changes in currency conversion rates, market conditions, or fees charged by your bank or payment provider.
  • Services purchased using cryptocurrencies, tokens, or similar alternative payment methods are strictly non-refundable, under any circumstances.
  • Any abuse or misuse of the refund policy is not tolerated by Glacier Hosting. This includes, but is not limited to, trying to return services that were purchased in bulk or repeatedly asking for refunds for the same service. Even if your refund request is within the normal refund window, we reserve the right to deny it if we have a reasonable suspicion of abusive behavior.
  • Any processing or gateway fees will be deducted from the refund amount. The final refund will be issued after these deductions.

Services Available For Refund Under Standard Terms

Upon approval of a refund, all applicable services listed below will be terminated immediately, regardless of whether the user has manually canceled them or not.

  • VPS Hosting – Premium Plans: Refund requests are accepted within 7 days from the date and time of purchase.
  • Bot Hosting: Refund requests are accepted within 2 days from the date and time of purchase, excluding any addons or upgrades, which are non-refundable.
  • Minecraft Hosting: Refund requests are accepted within 2 days from the date and time of purchase, excluding any addons or upgrades, which are non-refundable.
  • Database Hosting: Refund requests are accepted within 2 days from the date and time of purchase, excluding any addons or upgrades, which are non-refundable.

Services Not Available For Refund

The following services are non-refundable under any circumstances:

  • VPS Hosting – Budget and Ryzen Plans
  • Dedicated Servers
  • Any addons or upgrades purchased for any service

Refund Options and Credit balance

All refunds are processed to the original payment method by default. However, at the time of your refund request, you will have the option to choose whether you want the refund to be sent to your original payment method or credited to your Glacier Hosting account.

Account credits can be used instantly to purchase any other service.

Please note: Once the credit is added to your account, it becomes non-refundable and cannot be transferred to any other payment method.

Refund Process And Charges

All refunds are processed to the original payment method, unless the user requests the amount as a credit balance. At the time of a refund request, the user will be asked whether they prefer an immediate refund or a standard refund.

  • Standard refund request – This can take up to 3–7 working days. In some cases, the duration may be extended depending on bank processing times or delays from third-party payment gateways. The refund amount will be issued after deducting the processing fee charged by the payment gateway at the time of the original payment, and any additional fees charged during the refund process.

  • Immediate refund request – Users can either receive instant credit to their Glacier Hosting account, or choose to receive an immediate refund to their original payment method. In both cases, the refund will be issued after deducting the payment gateway’s original processing fee, as well as any extra charges applied for processing the immediate refund.

Refund Requests

If you believe you are eligible for a refund, you can submit a refund request ticket through the customer portal. To help us process your request smoothly, please make sure to include the following information in your ticket:

  • Acknowledging that you have read our Refund Policy
  • Reason for refund (a brief explanation of why you’re requesting the refund)
  • Preferred refund method (original payment method or account credit)
  • Confirmation of service cancellation, if already done (optional but helpful)
  • Transaction identifying information (e.g. account email, transaction ID, invoice number, and date of purchase)

Once submitted, we will review your request and may ask for additional information if needed. You acknowledge that it is your responsibility to respond promptly to any such requests. Failure to provide the necessary information may result in the closure of your refund request. We kindly ask you to keep an eye on your ticket so we can assist you as efficiently as possible.

Chargebacks

If at any point we detect a chargeback, payment dispute, payment reversal, risk of payment fraud, or any form of rejection of a valid charge related to your Glacier Hosting account, it will be considered a breach of your payment obligations. In such cases, you agree that Glacier Hosting has the right to take all lawful measures, including but not limited to suspending all services under your account without prior notice, in order to recover the due payment.

If you have any concerns or issues regarding a payment made to Glacier Hosting, we strongly encourage you to contact our support team first, before initiating any dispute, chargeback, or payment reversal. This will help prevent suspension of your services and account, data loss, and any unnecessary legal or financial complications.

Filing an erroneous or false chargeback may result in you being held liable for applicable fees, reputation damage, and repayment of all services used under your account. In the event of a chargeback, all your services may be suspended, your account access blocked, and any stored data may be lost or used as evidence to support our dispute process.

Glacier Hosting reserves the full right to dispute any chargeback or payment reversal and may provide relevant authorities or financial institutions with documentation and evidence to prove that the payment was authorized by you and that you made use of our services.
